Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has said the furore over the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams not taking Pakistani cricketers would die down with time.

Pakistan had reacted very strongly stopping the tour of its national hockey team, as well as the country's Election Commission to India, in response to the "snub" to its cricketers.

In an interview to CNN-IBN channel, Gilani dismissed allegations that it was an over-reaction on the part of Pakistan.

"I think that the mood of parliament, mood of the public and we have to follow their point of view as well," he said. "I think with time, things would be all right."
