The 3rd edition of the Indian Premier League returns the tournament back to India. Ahead of the cricketing extravaganza that begins tonight, here's a look at all the changes that we shall see in the new season:

# Delhi has a new Daredevil in charge - Meet Captain Gautam Gambhir

# And the Kings XI Punjab too have a new man on top - Kumar Sangakkara takes over from Yuvraj Singh

# The Knights have switched back to Dada Sourav Ganguly. They have brought in Dav Whatmore after sacking John Buchanan. And Wasim Akram's also been added to the management as bowling consultant.

# The Kolkata Knight Riders have also changed colours literally. The shirt has gone from black to purple, and they hope that's going to change their fortunes.

# With stylish Shilpa at the helm, the Royals will have a home and away shirt. So you will see Shane Warne in different colors.

# After going to South Africa, Lalit Modi is taking the IPL to new cities. Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Dharamsala and Cuttack will get their share of cricketainment. But remember, there shall be no Hyderabad because of Telangana.

# If you can't make watch the match on TV, then you can watch it on Youtube. Another new addition, the entire season will be broadcast live on Youtube.

# No Andrew Flintoff, Jesse Ryder or the banned Ravindra Jadeja.

# But then there is Bond Shane Bond, as the new Knight Rider.

# The bad news? You have only 5 minutes for your popcorn breaks because unlike last time it's not a 7-minute strategy break, it's 2 breaks of 2-and-a-half minutes in 1 innings.

# And finally one Bedi has been replaced by another. Out goes Mandira and in comes Angad - this one is the son of Bishen Singh Bedi.
